Morne 'à l'eau city of Guadeloupe

The Commune of Morne à l'Eau extends between the mangrove, the Grands Fonds of the east, and the plaine cannière. The borough is famous for its cemetery which reminds a huge checkers. The parish church belongs to the seven churches built by Ali Tur, who produced also the building of the post office and the Contributions of the town square. The sugar vestiges of the Pointe à Retz is interesting with its bases and a section of wall holed by an elegant door "charretière". Vieux Bourg, located on the Grand Cul de Sac Marin, is a typical fishermen village which has kept its character. The charming beach of Babin, known by the ground-crabs gatherers, is also a meeting place for the families. From the hill that dominates the church, beautiful sight on the plain of Gripon and the two îlets Duberan and Macou.
