Sainte Rose commune de la Guadeloupe

Sainte-Rose where landed in 1635, the first French coming to colonize Guadeloupe. fishing port, formerly soil for tobacco, today sugar and rum area, Sainte-Rose is a commune in extension which lead together the traditional activities with the establishment of new industrial and artisanal structures. Approximately 4 km (3 Miles) far from the borough, Sofaïa. From there, an exceptional panoramic sight on Sainte-Rose, the plains of Lamentin and the Grand cul de sac Marin. The road from Sainte-Rose to Deshaies is bordered by coves and clear sandy beaches...

Off the Pointe Allègre, you can see two charming îlets, the îlet Pointe à l'Anglais, and in the west, the îlet Kahouane. The other road passes near the Piton of Sainte-Rose and offers a very beautiful point of view on the Grand Cul de Sac Marin.
