The half-day circuits :

 

Pointe à Pitre is the sub-prefecture of Guadeloupe. Through this animated tropical city, you will enjoy to walk from the famous spices market to the flowers market, passing by Saint Antoine market and the one of La Darse, located at the arrival of the boats connecting between the islands of the guadeloupean archipelago. The nice "doudous", together with the fishermen, sell their fruit and vegetables. You will also discover the Place de la Victoire smartened up by some royal palm trees. Spare time for shopping. Return to your lodging.
 

Bougainvillée

Aquarium and Floral garden departure for the Marina de Gosier and the visit of the Aquarium of Guadeloupe: observation of the submarine fauna of the West Indies. Then go to Petit-Bourg, on the Basse Terre part of Guadeloupe, and the Domaine de Valombreuse, Floral garden gathering together about 300 species of flowers and trees essential oils.


Walk in the Park and under the " Volière Tropicale (Tropical Birdcage) " where you can admire a large variety of tropical birds. Return to your lodging.

 

Chute du Carbet

Falls of the Carbet, departure towards the famous commune of Capesterre Belle-Eau on the Atlantic Coast of the Basse-Terre. This capital city of guadeloupean banana is also the place where landed, in 1493, Christopher Colombus. During this circuit, you will see this historical place in Saint Marie. After crossing the banana fields, you will reach the Falls of the Carbet.


Walk towards the second fall, a 110 meters (330 feet) high fall in the middle of a luxuriant tropical forest. On the way back to Pointe à Pitre, stop to take pictures of " the Dumanoir Alley ", sumptuous road bordered with royal palm trees in Capesterre Belle Eau.

 

Pointe des Chateaux

The Pointe des Chateaux (Castles point):  go to Morne à l'Eau, stop at the cemetery, the largest and most beautiful of Guadeloupe, situated close to a hill. Continue to the city of Le Moule, old sugar harbour, and stop to take pictures of the Zévalos House, classified site, then, go to the


Pointe des Chateaux (Castles Point) : East end of Guadeloupe; this site is of a rare beauty and after a walk towards the " Calvaire ", you can enjoy a superb sight on all the archipelago. Return to your lodging.
