Customs
 

There is no frontier between the French and the Dutch part. Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy are for the customs free zones and thus "pays tiers".
While arriving in France you must declare at the customs office the transported goods and discharge the taxes corresponding.
Goods authorized without discharging a tax of customs:

- Tobaccos 200 cigarettes or 100 cigarillos or 50 cigars or 250 grams of tobacco to be smoked.
- Alcohols 2 liters of wine and 1 liter of alcohol of more than 22° or 2 liters of alcohol of less 22°.
- Perfumes 50 grams of extract (perfume) or 1/4 of liter of toilet water.
- Coffee 500 grams or 200 grams of extract and coffee essence
- Tea 100 grams or 40 grams of extract and essence.
- Drugs quantity corresponding to the needs of the travellers.
- Other goods 200 euros (200$) in value for any traveller more than 15 years old, or 100 euros (100$) in value for any travellers less than 15 years old
