The market of Marigot, very animated on Wednesday and Saturday morning. One finds there all kinds of tropical fruits, vegetables, fish, spices, but also the craft industry of the island: painting, fabrics, batiks, dolls... Every morning, except on Sunday.
Thanks to its statute of free port, Saint Martin is the paradise of the tax free Shopping. The shops of Philipsburg, in the Dutch part of the island, are particularly interesting for the hi-fi, video and photograph material. Those of Marigot, in the French zone, are specialized in perfumes, jewels and the haute couture " made in France ".

Starting from the Cul de Sac, board on a taxi boat which will lead you on the îlet Pinel, the place of predilection of the Saint Martin inhabitants.
